Perhaps the greatest grace that the Lord gave Fr. McDonough was the ability to  be able to explain how Jesus really is, how he wishes to heal us because he loves us.  This God given understanding of Jesus’ love for us and how deep and personal it is  showed in everything Fr. McDonough did and said.      His healing services  and ministry to people of all ages and conditions were a vivid and living testimony of who He knew Jesus to be . The blind were healed, the deaf could hear and those with no hope found Jesus’ personal love for them.  Through Fr. McDonough, Jesus showed us who He is.    This is my opinion, is the greatest charism given to Father.  He was the living proof and instrument through the Holy Spirit of what Jesus wants us to know, that He is truly the Good Shepherd, loving, kind and gentle and that He wants to heal us and for us to let Him love us.                                                       Rev.
